Title: Project Coordinator
Certifications: Bachelor of Science, Biology
Summary: Katelyn grew up in a turn-of-the-century farm home and has always been interested in historic properties as well as the character of the houses. This interest led her to rehabbing a historic home in Des Moines where she discovered her background as a technical writer could easily be applied to development and project coordination. Having worked as an artist and performer for several years, she is excited to be a part of the Silent Rivers team where the Art of Building – aesthetics, craft and quality – is the focus. Katelyn helps to facilitate the transition from design to production by estimating project budget and managing relations with our trade partners and area suppliers.
Experience: Prior to coming to Silent Rivers, Katelyn’s past work experience ranges from agricultural biotechnology to graphic arts. The skills gained through her varied experiences have aided in her transition to becoming a project coordinator. She joined Silent Rivers in 2016 and is excited to help bring our project concepts to life.
What I love about Silent Rivers is our fearless pursuit of beauty. From the design team to production, we are constantly pushing the envelope of craft and quality.”
