Silent Rivers is lucky to have two amazingly creative guys in our woodshop. Tom Bloxham and Alex Schlepphorst thrive on opportunities to create custom furniture. One example is the furniture they built for the Hospitality Suite and VIP Club at the Des Moines Arts Festival.
As a proud sponsor of the Des Moines Arts Festival, we have built the Hospitality Suite and VIP Club since 2013. The Hospitality Suite offers the opportunity for companies or individuals to rent the Suite and invite guests to join them for a break from the heat. The VIP Club is open to members of the Arts Festival Patron program, and offers food, beverages, shade and premium seating. The Suites are especially popular on Friday and Saturday evenings with their excellent view of the main stage.
The Hospitality Suite and VIP Club gave us a perfect opportunity to showcase the talents of Tom and Alex. Built in the Silent Rivers woodshop and crafted from Baltic birch plywood, mahogany and waterfall bubinga hardwood, the tables seen here are just an example of the new pieces you’ll see at the Hospitality Suite and VIP Club this year.
