Des Moines Bathroom Remodel Delights Owners of a Midcentury Condo

The clients came to Silent Rivers with the goal of a bathroom remodel in a 1950s condominium. Utilizing period materials such as natural birch and chrome in contemporary details, we updated the look and feel of the bathrooms while remaining true to the building’s character. With a partial-height wall and frosted glass screen walls, we opened out the master bathroom and create a space that feels much larger than the physical area. The hall bathroom features a granite vessel sink that “reflects” the pattern of the Staron solid surface countertop.
